What type of heater should you choose?

Mill offers a broad range of heaters suited to different needs. Here is a quick guide to help you choose the right heater for your needs.

Choosing the right kind of electric heating for your home can be quite difficult as there are many different types of electrical heaters. Not to mention a wide range of wattages to choose from. The aim of this guide is to help you navigate the different types of electric heaters offered by Mill to make the best and most informed choice for your home.

Panel Heaters

Mill wall-mounted panel heaters provide a comfortable base temperature throughout your home. Choose between 8 different wattages to adjust the temperature of each room. We generally recommend 70-100 watts per square meter. A panel heater can safely be left on while unattended, during the night, or while you are away, due to its safe and efficient x-aluminum heating element and relatively low surface temperature. This lets you return to a warm and comfortable home. Choose between a day/night program or a smart heater with integrated WiFi and app control to adjust the temperature to your daily routines. The user-friendly Mill app helps you save money on electricity while away from home or asleep in bed.

Mill panel heaters come in two different styles: Mill Invisible and Mill Glass. The unique rounded shape of the Mill Invisible heater gives it the appearance of floating on the wall. The Mill Glass heater has a trendy and elegant look.

If you have little free wall space or simply want a more flexible heating source that can be moved around, you may prefer our Mill WiFi portable heater. This portable heater has the same heating element found in Mill panel heaters, meaning you can safely leave it unattended.

Oil filled radiators

If you are looking for a gentle heating source that does not dry the air, a Mill Gentle Air oil-filled radiator is the perfect choice. As the heating element of the radiator is not in direct contact with ambient air, it will not burn dust, nor dry out the air. The closed structure of the heaters forces the hot air to rise faster, resulting in more efficient heat distribution throughout the room. In fact, it heats the room 29% faster than traditional oil-filled radiators. This makes Mill Gentle Air more energy efficient than other oil heaters and is thus a more sustainable choice.

The unique, attractive shape and elegant foot make it look as though it hovers above the floor. These portable heaters operate quietly and are safe to leave unattended. The heaters come in 3 different wattages and a variety of operations. Choose between a mechanical thermostat for easy operation, a day/night program for lowering the temperature, or an integrated WiFi with app control for energy-saving efficiency.

Portable heaters

Mill Instant is a range of highly efficient portable heaters that provide instant heat as soon as they are turned on. Mill Instant is a perfect choice if you want a heater that quickly heats up a room. It is a quieter alternative to traditional fan heaters, so you can enjoy a rapidly heated room without distracting noise. These portable models are easy to move around due to their lightweight, handles on both sides and slim body.

Mill Instant heaters should not be left unattended, due to their highly efficient wire heating element. They are a perfect supplementary heating source on chilly days. Choose between two different styles: an elegant steel front or a trendy glass model. The heater comes with a mechanical thermostat for easy operation or an electronic thermostat with an LED display.

The WiFi model in the convection series comes with the same heating element as Mill panel heaters, meaning you can safely leave the WiFi portable heater unattended.

Fan heater

Do not let the small size of the Mill Compact fan heater fool you. This is a powerful heater that will quickly heat up larger rooms. The gentle PTC heating element has a lower surface temperature than normal fan heaters with heating wires. This means that the heater will burn less dust and not dry the air as regular fan heaters do. The small size and “cool-to-the-touch” surface make it easy to move the heater around wherever you need extra heat. The neat design also allows for easy storage during the summer months. A Mill Compact fan heater is a supplementary heating source that should not be left unattended, due to its highly efficient heating element.

We hope you find the right Mill heater for your needs, to keep you warm in style.
